What happens if an influencer doesn’t post content/drops off the planet?

It’s rare for this to happen on our platform. We actively monitor and review our creators on a weekly basis to ensure they remain responsive and engaged. Any inactive or unresponsive creators are flagged and removed to maintain the quality and reliability of our platform.

That said, as a general rule of thumb with contra gifting, there’s an 80% likelihood that creators will activate and post content. This is because contra gifting is based on mutual goodwill: brands provide free products, and creators post in return without a formal obligation. While it’s a highly effective and cost-efficient way to generate organic UGC, it doesn’t guarantee a post every time.

For future collaborations, we recommend taking advantage of the star rating and responsiveness metrics available on our platform. You can find these at the top of your chat with a creator. These tools allow you to see their response times and read feedback from other brands about their collaboration experiences, helping you choose creators more likely to activate successfully.

For guaranteed content delivery, you may want to consider a paid collaboration through an agency or formal contract, which ensures agreed terms, including deliverables and timelines.

We’re here to help you make the most of your campaigns, so if you have any concerns or need guidance, feel free to reach out to us at [email protected].
